Spike in Covid cases
Respected Parent/Guardian
With the recent spike in Covid cases and the anticipated third wave of the virus, it is imperative that we take stringent measures to protect ourselves.
The school has taken all the necessary steps to ensure the safety of our children. However, we need the support and co-operation of all parents to create a safe environment for our children.
Hence, the following guidelines must be strictly adhered to:
- If your child displays ANY symptoms of a flu, accompanied by fever, coughing and sneezing, PLEASE KEEP HIM/HER AT HOME until permission is granted by the principal for him/her to return to school.
- If any member of the family living in the same house as the child has tested positive for Covid-19, the principal must be informed immediately. The child must isolate for 14 DAYS before returning to school. The child will only be accepted back at school on producing a negative Covid-19 test result.
- If a child has been in contact with any other person who had tested positive for Covid, the principal must be informed immediately. A decision will then be taken to determine for what period, if any, the child must isolate before returning to school.
Your kind co-operation and support will be much appreciated.
Please adhere to all Covid-19 protocols: social distance, sanitise and wear a mask.
