Dear Principal and Board Members,

As I sit down to express my gratitude towards each one of you for giving me the opportunity to serve as the Deputy Head Girl of our school for 2022, words seem to fall short in expressing my heartfelt thanks. I am honoured and privileged to have been trusted with this position, and I humbly thank you all for the faith that you have shown in me.

Being the deputy head girl has taught me to be responsible, compassionate, and a leader. A leader who is always ready to take charge, to help those around her, and to contribute towards the betterment of the school and the students. I have learned to be organized, focused, and disciplined, which will surely help me in my future endeavours. I have had the chance to work with the teachers and staff members of our school as well as other organisations to help build a more positive community and assist different parts of the world during unforeseen crises, in addition to creating a more inclusive environment within the school.

I am extremely grateful to the school administration, and especially to you, Mr Allimia, for guiding us and providing us with a constructive environment where we can grow and learn. Your motivation and encouragement has helped me immensely in achieving my goals. You have appreciated my hard work and contributions, even when I lacked confidence in myself. I don’t think I could have achieved this without your support and encouragement.

I would also like to thank the board members of our school for trusting me and providing me with this opportunity. You have given me the confidence to pursue my goals and believed in my abilities. The success I have been able to achieve is a direct result of your guidance and support. Doctor Shaheed and Mr S. Carrim, not only did this opportunity allow me to grow as an individual but it allowed me to make mistakes and learn lessons from them. These are lessons I will carry with me and forever cherish!

I pray that Allah blesses this institution with academic excellence and all-round growth. May it continue to be a positive environment, which helps build people up in times of difficulty or trouble and excel in creating excellent leaders. May Allah bless all those who play an active role in allowing this institution to be a success, Insha Allah.

I am proud to be part of such a wonderful school that values hard work, dedication, and commitment. I hope to continue serving the school community to the best of my capacity. With your continued support and guidance, I am sure that the prefects of 2023 will be able to contribute positively towards the school’s growth and development.

I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for me. Your unwavering support and trust means the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
